Lindy Powell
Lindy Powell is the Executive Director at St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf – Indiana. She previously served as the Director of Education at the Texas Hearing Institute (formerly The Center for Hearing and Speech) in Houston, TX and as adjunct faculty for the Deaf Education and Hearing Sciences (DEHS) program at UT Health San Antonio. She has a bachelor’s degree in Deaf Education and Special Education from Ball State University and a master’s degree in Reading Development from University of St. Thomas Houston. Lindy holds teaching certifications in Deaf Education and English as a Second Language and has presented nationally on the topics of early intervention and preschool inclusion.
