In November 2018 the National Association of State Directors of Special Education published the third edition of “Optimizing Outcomes for Students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing: Educational Service Guidelines.” These guidelines are designed to provide information, guidance, and standards to educational programs so that deaf and hard of hearing students can reach their full potential
OPTION Schools endorses and encourages the use of the National Association of State Directors of Special Education’s (NASDSE) resource, Optimizing Outcomes for Students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing: Educational Service Guidelines, (3rd Edition, 2018). The guidelines can be accessed here.
